Brenda - you can get water at the summit of Wolf Creek Pass afer the middle of June. I learned this the hard way as I was riding up there one Saturday in the middle of June and had run out of water. I tried to use the campground water faucets but they were dry - to be turned on the next day. The water is cold and plentiful. Other than the Woodland Cash store (about 2 miles from Francis) there is no public water until the summit of Wolf Creek Pass.

Thank you for your words on Wolf Creek Pass. I have a question though. Is there anywhere to get water AFTER the town of Francis??? Can you get water at the top at the Wolf Creek Pass campground.

Thank you!
